Are You And Your Children Safe From Gum Disease?

How can you be sure that your children are safe from gum disease? Do you know that children can get gum disease as well? This is a condition that affects children at puberty and involves the first molars and incisors. Juvenile gum disease may become serious and damage may be more widespread. Children having gum disease may have little build up of plaque and tartar, however, the rapid loss of the bone around may have a great impact on teeth. Advanced gum disease in children can make permanent teeth become loose and eventually fall out. Even young adults may develop rapid, progressive form of gum disease. Unfortunately, babies can also get the disease with the eruption of their first teeth on rare occasion.
