Treatment options
You really should not have a problem when trying to find treatments to reduce the appearance of your scars. There are literally hundreds of products we are asking everyone to work. The difficult part is finding one that works, and that is not just spinning out lies to trick you into spending money!
Here are some treatment options that most people have found work:
Cream
Creams are readily available at your local drug store and there are a lot 'to choose the form. However, there are some people who recommend over others. Scar zone cream was said to work and thus no vitamin K. If you have darker skin, cocoa butter seems to work pretty well too. Another good people who recommend happened Palmers Fade skin cream. It contains vitamin E and many people have found useful.
There was also a fairly recently that a lot of people are about delirious. This is' Bio-Oil '. Bio Oil is the oil that is used for the treatment of stretch marks and scars. The results do not take a po 'time to work, but actually work. However, all the skin is different and therefore it may take a few months and if they do not see any results, change products until you find what works for you.
Capsules
Some people also use capsules to help their scars to fade. However, they do not swallow the capsules, but they break open and spread the liquid on the scar. A good example is vitamin E. Many doctors give to this and you can also find at the local drug store. You find some 'messy, once you are spreading your scar, but some people swear by and say that over time, the scar is now almost completely exhausted. Cod-liver oil capsules were also used, though it has not been proven or not that works yet.
Surgery
While surgery is an option that many people seem to think is better, sometimes can actually make a scar look longer. All surgery leaves a scar that takes up to two years to mature, so that the results will not be immediate. However, you can change the shape of the existing scar and reduce the appearance of it much. All in all if the surgery is not perhaps the best answer!
Laser Surgery
If you have a red scar and laser surgery may be able to help fade the appearance of it. Generally it is believed that removing the upper layer of skin, the scar will flatten in appearance. It works to reduce the appearance of scars, but can be expensive.
Overall, scars fade naturally over time, however, if you're really unhappy there are many treatments available for you, it is more convenient creams. However, the option very cheap is to simply wear clothes to cover them up. Wear a long sleeve or wear a hat if you're worried about a scar on your head. This is certainly the cheapest way to go about covering your scar!
If you want to have them drastically reduced, laser surgery may be the answer, but before you accept anything that is better to talk with your doctor or dermatologist.
